Crash decay tails off very quickly and not allowed to ring out

  Hi,

  If I click the crash cymbal with my mouse, I can hear the entire cycle of the sound and it rings out beautifully.

  When I trigger it with external midi, no matter how long the midi note is, it tails off very quickly and unnaturally.

  I turned off ‘aftertouch’ in the Choke/Mute Trigger module, as well as ‘note off’. Neither helped.

  Just trying to get the crash cymbal to decay naturally without tapering off quickly.

  Any ideas here?
