Probably just a setting I’m missing, but in Ableton 10 Suite (Windows 10 Pro) – if I use EZD2 to create a drum track, save the track, close it and then reopen it – the drums do not play unless I open the EZD2 GUI. Once I open the GUI, everything runs fine. Any suggestions?
It’s a feature of Ableton 10 that it suspends an instrument that has been silent for a while and isn’t getting any MIDI input. It’s possible for a plug-in to opt out of this but it hasn’t been added to EZD2 yet. It will be in the next update. It’s done already in EZkeys 1.3.0, SD3 and EZbass. For now maybe you can add some MIDI to the Ableton track to wake up EZD2?
