If I edit a midi track in Grid Editor while using SD3 in Pro Tools, how do I get my midi track in Pro Tools to acknowledge the changes? For instance I quantized part of a track in SD3 Grid editor and now during play back I hear both the original PT midi track and the edited SD3 version, causing this flam effect. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
You’re not supposed to run both tracks at the same time. If you’re triggering SD3 from your DAW’s MIDI track, then you need to switch off the Follow Host button or mute the MIDI parts in SD3’s song track. Otherwise you’re double triggering everything.
