Hi Everyone,
Every time I float my Grid editor in REAPER DAW I get this jumpy screen action going…Does anyone else have it or is there a work around? It becomes very distracting and hard to work with….Thx, jeff

Hi Jeff,
I don’t see that behaviour here in Reaper. I may be running another version (I’m on the latest currently available), I don’t know, my Reaper looks very different but that’s perhaps just your Theme layout? I’m just running the Default layout and have no jerkiness whatsoever when detaching the Grid editor window while running the Reaper Timeline and playing back MIDI on the SD3 Song Track.

John

Thx John,
Going from that premise that it works on Reaper I just found out that it is because I’m using a big monitor with a dual screen…it works fine on my small monitor in single screen mode (any theme) but not in dual mode or single mode on the large monitor…Is there a work around for this that you know of?
Regards, Jeff
Myself, I actually run 4 monitors (with different sizes and resolution), including the built-in Retina display of my Mac so I am thinking that it maybe is an OS difference?
Or I have my Reaper set up somehow differently. I’l try to dig into the Reaper Preferences to see if there might be something to try in there.

Thanks John!
I tried a bunch of my screens display settings with a no go….

Hi Jphn,
I found the issue…My Focusrite Clarett drivers needed to be updated and now all is good!!
Thx again!
