    1) If you are running EZD2 2.1.6, you need to update to 2.1.8 for the Dark Matter EZX to work.

    2) ProTools 10 is 32-bit so you can’t load the 64-bit EZD2. When using a 32-bit host, you are limited to the amount of RAM. 64-bit hosts aren’t limited that way.

    3) The kits shouldn’t sound different between the 32-bit or 64-bit.

    4) 32-bit DAWs are older tech. Many companies, Toontrack included, are only producing new 64-bit only plugins (S3, EZbass) so at some point you should look into getting a 64-bit DAW.

Thank you for the help.  I used product manager to update my ez drummer.  Still crashes when loading the dark matter kit.

I used to use Steinberg Nuendo, i believe it was 2.2.0.xx  not sure if that one is 64 bit but i could go back to using nuendo.  i still remember the interface.

I tried reaper but it was too different.

My version says 2.0.2 but there is no way to go higher,  the product manager says its up do date???

How do i get the version you mention?  Maybe that is why dark matter is crashing.

    EZdrummer version: 2.0.2
    Operating system: Windows 7
