I’ve got some preset packs for SP3 from a site called DRUMSCRAFT but when I open the file it comes up with “Library path issue” and prompts me to go into the library path settings…iv’e had a lot of trouble with this as some installed things still don’t work. I wanna know howdy I link it or instal it into SP3?
Thanks.
Hi,
we can’t really give support for 3rd party products but as I understand it, it’s only SD3 Projects?
Are you sure you have the libraries you have bought preset packs for from that site?

What is the exact preset packs did you buy? Do you have the exact S3 libraries that those presets require?

yeah they come as a project with a ton of presets then you open it and save the presets as user presets. They are legit, I just don’t know what’s s=wrong with my library….could I get a screenshot to what a library should look like?cause I once removed something lol
I want to know what preset pack you have and what S3 libraries you have.
Reason is, is that it appears that some of that company’s presets require you to have SDXs or EZX expansion packs to load. For example, see this pic.
This pack requires S3 and the Metal Foundry SDX. So, if you don’t have the SDX, you can’t load the presets.
I’m wondering what preset pack you have and if you just don’t have the S3 expansion pack and that’s why you can’t load it

Hi guys,
Jaro from DRUMSCRAFT here. In the description of each of my presets, I state twice (for sure) which SDX/EZX is needed for everything to work smoothly. Each thumbnail is linked to the Toontrack website to make it really clear which library it is (alternatively, you can buy it straight away if you don’t already have it). Usually, you need a full CORE library, whether or not it is listed. I assume you installed it together with the SD3 plugin.
If you have read the product description carefully and also have all the necessary libraries installed, it does not matter on which disk/path the library is located. Just open the SD3P file using the File-Open menu within the SD3 plugin or standalone application and everything has to work smoothly. SD3 will take care of this because the paths to the libraries are set inside the plugin. There is no need to set or copy anything else.
I try to make it as simple as possible. If anyone has a suggestion on how to make it even easier, I’ll be happy to talk about it. In my opinion, however, there is no easier way to achieve this. 🙂
