I just wanted to drop a line and congratulate you on a job very well done. I’ve been bugging Toontrack for this product for years and I am more than happy with the result. I’ve read some of the issues that other posters are having, and I’d have to say that I don’t have any of them. I have been exporting my existing bass audio files from my DAW to my desktop and then dragging them into EZ Bass (they won’t drag and drop directly from the DAW) and so far, it has worked pretty seamlessly. Obviously, there are tweaks to be made here and there, but overall, the process is painless and the sound is amazingly good. I can play bass parts, but I’m not a bass player so the MIDI editor is a godsend for me. I’d also like to add that, as is the case with all Toontrack products (my studio relies heavily on Superior Drummer 3 and, to a lesser extent, EZ Keys) I find the interface to be really easy to use and intuitive. I spent a day or two hunting and pecking my way around the editors, but now I find it as easy to use as the other products I mentioned. I fully realize that this is just my personal take and for some other applications, users may be having some issues, but so far, I haven’t encountered anything problematic. (Of course, I hope that you will add some other instruments later: A Rickenbacker, a Hofner and a P Bass come to mind – and possibly an acoustic bass guitar and stand-up bass?). I’d also like to see an expanded preset list with some more variations on conventional sounds – but I’m nitpicking. I couldn’t be happier with the product.
Brilliant job! Thanks again.

Yes, you guys knocked it out of the park! EZ Bass takes my songwriting sessions to a new level. It caught me off guard, how much easier it is to come up with chord progressions when the bass part is there (and not just the root note). Looking forward to adding new basses and midi packs to my collection.
