    You won’t get anywhere near the sound of an upright with the current sample libraries. I’m sure there will be expansion packs in the future following the EZDrummer and EZKeys models.

    I’d like to add my encouragement to the thought of having an upright expansion for EZBass.

    And I’d like to mention that I reeeeeealy love the Tracker capability for injecting “my DNA” into my midi bass tracks, along with articulations. I have already been converting my P-Bass tracks in EZBass with great results, and I’ve done a bit of that with some upright bass VSTs as well, capturing time and dynamics and phrasing nicely – everything but upright articulations (and “noises”).

    So, my hope would be for an upright expansion that can capture some of the significant articulations of my P-Bass audio in Tracker and apply them to an EZBass Upright Expansion. Some thumps and slaps and pops and noise would be very nice indeed. A little buzz on the open strings.

    Is that a serious question or are you being an ass? If serious, yes, I know. However, using the included grooves and song writing tool would be more efficient with access to extended chords; less editing and all.

    Yes, please! Upright bass with both jazz, bluegrass, and blues (ala Willie Dixon on Muddy Waters’ 50s and 60s records) midi would be incredibly useful for me.

    There would be nothing that would make me happier than an upright bass expansion. Well, world peace. And a great parking spot at the mall. But after that, definitely an upright bass expansion (with jazz and bluegrass midi packs please).

    Yes! Another vote for an upright bass! Given that November is “Metal Month”, I’m sure that the next EZ bass released will be some kind of death metal bass. Shortly after that, we really need an upright bass with jazz midi. I’ve got money burning a hole in my pocket waiting to spend on this!
