Why can’t tuning be simpler?
Why not have some presets or allow me to make my own tuning.

I don’t understand semi tones, octaves, and cents.

I get in the ballpark what they are.

However I have ZERO idea on how to tune it for a G# 7 string guitar.

Why can’t I like click the tuning peg’s and enter the note I want it to be?

Am I missing something here?

If not you guys missed the shot here, some of us are just looking to pluck around and have some fun with a bass, guitar, and ez drummer.

The bass is mapped so that each note on a keyboard is mapped to a fret or loose string on the bass, to keep it as simple as possible to play, and have all MIDI files compatible. The tuning options you mention will tune the entire bass equally – so for example, if you want to play to a guitar that’s -50 cent of tune, you can match that in the tuning section.

Because I’m dense

what would a 7 string tuned to drop A need for the octaves semi tones and cents value?
