Use audio sender to render a bass line from an existing track (Midi, audio). For example I have an audio track called Real Bass and I want to convert it to EZBass and play around with it in EZBass. (Assume I have already recorded the real bass track). Create an instrument track, insert EZBass on it. Then go into the effects plug-ins, select Toontrack > Audio Sender and insert it as effect on the Real Bass track, you will see the name is defaulted to Audio Input x. Open EZBass, go to the Audio tracker tab and you should see the input name from audio tracker.

Attached a little screen print, hope it helps. BTW the source doesn’t have to be a bass track.

Thank you Brad! This worked perfectly. I was able to record real guitar and bass tracks and edit them in midi form within the “Audio Tracker” tab by doing what you stated.

I tried your method in Reaper, still no options under Input.  It only shows “none”.  Any suggestions?  Thanks

    Hi lawnranger,

did you see my reply to your other post? There is nothing else done in that screen shot but inserting the Audio Sender on the source audio track and then selecting that Input on the Audio Tracker page in EZbass.

    BR,
    John
