I created a song, labeled the song sections, and wrote in the chord changes. Then I used the library of grooves to replace the midi.
Is there a way to keep the groove library open and every time I highlight a song section, if the midi in that section came from the loop library, the library will jump to that groove again?
For instance, I find a style I like, and I use the “Intro 01”, “Verse 03”, “Chorus 03” in my song even though I used them for the Intro, first verse, and first chorus, respectively.
I want to click on my first verse, and have the system tell me I am using a Pop/rock Straight 4/4 Ballad 66 Verse Groove “VERSE 03” in that region.
In this way, when I get to verse 2 of my song, I can choose something different, or, I can make sure to choose the same thing again, for consistency.
Maybe this is something I need to activate in basic settings, or it is something with a key combination, that I need help locating?
