    %LocalAppData%\Temp\EZbass

(Paste that into the address field of an Explorer window.)

If you find any, please zip and try to attach to a post here.

Can you describe exactly what you do to make it crash?

Found nothing with the link you provided. However, in AppData\Local\Temp\EZbass there are three files with names like:

    Version 1.0.2 (build 25098) [64-bit VST]-20200522-112243.dmp

Is that what you would want me to attach to a message here?

As for my actions causing crash I have done very simple things like clicking a song part or adjusting a velocity, no strange actions at all.

Yes, that’s it, dmp files like that.

%LocalAppData% expands to AppData\Local, so it should be the same.

    Here are the dmp-files

I have also noted that when I try to reopen the project, only one midi clip is still there. I have cut a longer imported midi file into parts, but only the first clip is there after crash. That includes several autosaved versions.

Also, at least one crash was while I tried to do something with files from EZbase.

There is no dump file attached. Make sure you zip it before trying to attach it in the post.

Thanks, Tom. Two of the three crashes happened when you clicked the button Add/Edit Chord. It would be helpful to know how the track looked at those times, what was selected. In the other crash, it seems you were adding a chord with the pen tool. Also then it would help to know what the track looked like, and where you clicked/dragged. In other words, please let us know if you find a way to reproduce the crashes.

So all three crashes were related to editing chords…

I imported a midi bass track into EZBass and cut it into smaller parts like intro, verse etc. I didn’t change any chords deliberately. I edited the song parts into intro, verse etc. to get appropriate headings. Crashes may have happened during that or accidentally hitting something else. After the crash only the intro midi remained. That includes all autosaves I have. That’s all I can recall.

After the crashes I decided to use midi in Studio One tracks only. So accordingly I have had no more crashes as I don’t use EZBass for this task while I wait for an update with the problem solved.

I had a similar thing happening to me today. Added one track with a guitar DI track with single notes – Toontrack Audio Sender as plugin – and an EZbass track to test the recording functionality. That all worked fine but when I tried to remove the two added tracks from the song, Studio One (v4.6 w. latest updates) crashed.

I use Superior Drummer 3 and tons of 3rd party plugins and instruments but it’s the first time Studio One crashed on my PC. Removing a track, even if there are plugins loaded is the typical way I do it but it never resulted in a crash so far. Any suggestions what I may be doing wrong?

    Thanks

Tom, I think these crashes have to do with using multiple song tracks in EZbass. We have found some bugs in that, so in this version, I’d recommend using only one song track.

I am having the same issue.  When I try to add a simple single midi note at the end of the song to hold an A, EZ Bass crashes Studio One every time.  Very frustrating.

I’ve attached the zipped dump file.

    Please advise.

Sorry.  Just realized there was an update.  That seems to have fixed it.  🙂
