you have to open them in a DAW not in standalone

    then they play together

Yeah, you need a DAW. You open up Bass on one track and Drums on another. The DAW just sees them as a VST plugin.

Thanks for the quick feedback. What would you recommend for a DAW? I dont need something crazy powerful at the protools level – just something easy so I can get the bass & drum to play together so I can jam to.

A lot of DAW have free version to download and even full version working for limited time. Before to spend money, I strongly reccomend to test some of them. Look at Reason, Studio One, pro tools and many more.

Read the specs before trying the free versions of a DAW (or any DAW for that matter). Studio One (Prime – Free) for example doesn’t support third party VST plugins, same for Pro Tools – First, so you couldn’t use EZBass or EZDrummer with them. Though I don’t these;  Waveform, Soundbridge and to an extent Cakewalk(free) seem promising.

    Thanks for the help.

I am trying REAPER – all I really need is for DRUMMER & EZBASS to play together so I can jam. That’s it. I downloaded REAPER – which seems easy enough to use – drag & drop ( i think) but I have no sound? I can see the meters working, but no output. WOuld be nice if Toontrack would come out with a sequencer or something to create jam tracks with their products. Very frustrating.
