    Hi,

Can you open the standalone? If so, go into Settings > General and click “Reset Scale and Size”. That could fix it for Cubase.

I tried that, but sadly EZBass 1.1.6  still crashes my cubase 12.0.52 every time it opens…

    any other tips?

That’s a very strange crash. Perhaps the VST3 has become corrupt so try reinstalling it. If it does not immediately help, try it in a new project without any other plug-ins loaded (and with as little system extensions or special drivers as possible loaded). It works in standalone?

    1. It will crash Cubase even when I simply choose it as a VSTIi (No Project open yet)
    2. Tried it in a new Project – same crash
    3. Please advise what are the steps to re-install it….uninstall first then main EZBass app then latest update?
    4. Standalone works fine

In this case, delete C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\EZbass.vst3 and then run the 1.1.6 updater which should reinstall the VST3.

Could you check if the EZbass VST2 works for you in Cubase?

How do I get at vst2?

Hm, I think you would need to remove EZbass.vst3 to make Cubase let you use the VST2, and the path to it has to be added in the “VST Plug-in Manager” in Cubase – the same path that the standalone shows in Help > Show Plug-In Path. But try the reinstall first.

Ok that worked…ie the remove of the vst3 and then the v1.1.16 re-install
    Thank you
