    Hi Thorsten,

as far as I know there is no possibility of changing setups via MIDI. I did a lot of research because I also wanted to use SD3 live on stage. There are some possibilities using other programs to control all this, depends on which platform you’re Mac or Windows.

MAC: Mainstage, Live Professor, Gig Performer, or any kind of DAW like Reaper, Ableton, Logic etc.

windows: Bloxpander (really worth to take a look at) and other DAWs like those above

The biggest Problem will be the Performance of your Computer (RAM). Most of the Programs load the different instances (Sets) into the RAM to give you the ability to change between the different sets quite quickly. Few RAM means few Sets, big RAM means a lot of sets. There are so many things to consider in the world of using VST in a Livesituation . . . . .
Your First name sounds german, so if you are interested in more informations . . . . It’s easier for me to write in german 🙂
you can contact me via PM if this exists here.

    greets from Cologne, Germany

    Hi derilja,
