I have a Roland TD25-KV that is connecting to a newer MacBook Pro, and I’ve got SD3 installed. My E-drum module and my computer are talking, recognizing each other, and playing nicely. They’re connected via USB, and my software recognizes the MIDI device (that is, the E-Kit). Everything mapped out alright, but I’m looking to record in SD3 and having it be able to detect each trigger separately (snare, kick, toms, cymbals, etc.) Once that bit would be done, I’m looking to take that newly recorded performance and work with the sounds of my performance from there.
Hope someone can help! This module seems capable of so much, and I don’t want to have to spend boatloads more money on another Roland one just for the sake of this. It seems like the current module only wants to kick out single WAV files of an entire performance, versus separation of each trigger that SD3 can recognize.
