Hi, I’ve been testing UA’s LUNA recording system for the last week and like it a lot. I have found one issue with EZDrummer 2 which I reported to UA but not yet until now. I’ve found that the EZD2 instrument will not play when re-opening a session which has EZD2 on an instrument track. It looks like the “Follow Host” setting does not survive a session close/re-open. Once you click the button, the tempo maps correctly to the session and EZD2 works again. Not sure if the issue is your’s or UA’s, but I figure both of you should be aware of it.

I’m on macOS 10.14.6 and EZD2 v2.1.8
I wish I could offer some personal feedback for the newly released host. However LUNA is Mac only and requires a UA hardware interface and I use neither.
Hopefully someone with those system requirements can chime in.

Scott – understood. If there’s a way I can get you information (logs, etc) I’m happy to do so.
Hi,
I have tried myself and it seems EZdrummer 2 and EZkeys do not open with the ‘Follow Host’ state remembered but newer plugins and SD3 and EZbass do.
I will forward this to my colleagues and perhaps they can figure out what is going on.

John

Thanked by: David CaseJohn, anything on getting this fixed on your end. UAD informed us you’d need to make it happen.
Thanks.

@John Rammelt – Any updates on getting this working with EZDrummer and EZKeys?
Any more on this subject?
On the “Follow Host” question…
Anything new in October??
Rick, I got tired of waiting and bought Superior Drummer 3 (not the only reason) which works fine, so I haven’t used EZD in a month or so…
