Hi, fellow Studio One user here.

If you have the VST add on and have set up your directories properly it should show up in the instrument tab..  The question I have is have you had issues with using any other VST plugins, or is it only EZDrummer that is causing you issues?

If you can then try another VST from another instrument or effect.  You can find some free plugins on various sites – I won’t link any here.  Look for sites like KVR audio or Plugin Boutique or similar.  This is to ensure that the VST add on is working correctly.  If not, then I recommend logging a ticket on Tuesday via the MyPresonus App (on iTunes and Play Store).

studio one recognized all other vst’s on my computer.  im beginning to think its ezdrummer 1 . sounds like EZD2 works perfect.  im going to try to re-install and see where that gets me.  Thanks for your reply.

    Hi Michael.

No problem.  At a guess, from what you have said it sounds like your EZDrummer 1 is a 32-bit plugin, and that’s why it’s not loading in Studio One.  Studio One V4 (all versions including Artist) only support 64-bit plugins.  Ezdrummer 2 comes in both 32 bit AND 64 bit versions.

I use EZdrummer 2 with studio one v4 no problems.  Or rather, too few to mention and only relevant to my set up.

    Good luck!

    Cheers,

    Jake.

There is a 64-bit version of EZD1 in the latest EZD1 update.

    Ok. That’s a thought. I think I saw both 32 and 64 versions of

EZD1 when I was trying to find the .dll file. I may not have installed it however. I think a re-install is in order. Awesome, I hope that’s all it is. Thanks for the reply!

So Scott, EZD1 64 will work in studio one artist with VST BOOSTER PACK?

    Did not know that.  Thanks.

Then yes, the 64-bit will work with Studio Artist Booster Pack.

Eureka!  My computer has two files used for “program files”. EZD was installing itself in the opposite one as studio one. Once I put EZD in the same one, Studio one was able to recognize. Sounds pretty simple but, slipped by me.
    Thanks for your help guys!

It’s the simple things that get overlooked and ate often the cause.

But yes Windows x64 (64 bit) has two program files.  One with not digits Nd one labelled x86.
