Hi all had a successful or so I think install and updates for Superior 3 and yet I can not hear any sound…
I am running it through a USB cable ( tried a spare as well )
I can click on the actual drums and see the skins move but no sound..
I bought this as a shop soiled kit so got no instructions as such with the kit can anyone help please..
Is there a setting somewhere..?
What are you using as an audio interface? I don’t know what the kit is but I suspect the usb connection is midi only so you need to set in SD3 what audio interface it outputs to. This will either be the internal audio on your computer (not recommended) or an audio interface .
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
Thanks for the reply yes indeed you guessed right its the internal sound card all though it is not a generic card built into the motherboard its an Creative soundblaster 5.1 digital card with a optic output as well
