Editing midi from EZ Drummer 2

Hi,

I have written a song and then dragged the midi files over from EZ Drummer to my DAW (Reaper). I can’t seem to be able to mute a small section of the song in my DAW. Is this because I dragged the midi out of EZ drummer? Sorry for such a newbie question 🙂

Do you still have MIDI on the EZD2 Song Track? Do you still have Follow Host active? If so, you’re playing back MIDI on the Song Track regardless of what you mute in the DAW.
