  Hi

  I am running SD3 as an insert on Pro Tools 11, triggering it with a Roland TD30.

  I set SD3 to follow host, record enable SD3 and also the pro tools track the plug in is assigned to, then record my drum track. When I play it back I have two versions paying at the same time…. one on SD3 and one on Pro Tools. I unfollow host to stop SD3 playing at the same(ish) time and I have my track in pro tools, but then don’t I lose all the wonderful editing features in SD3?

  My ideal would be to record and edit in Superior Drummer, then bounce audio tracks down to pro tools once its edited so I can send my client multi track audio files for them to mix and master. Is that possible, or do I have to record and edit in pro tools?
