I`ve just updated to 3.1.6 and download manager is asking me to delete 256gig of downloaded files. I put all the libraries etc on a separate SSD. Question is does leaving all those original files on my main drive slow the computer down, so should I get rid of them, or save them in case I need to re-install ?
Hi,
once you have installed the libraries (as you write you did on an external drive), you do not need the downloaded installer files.
Please feel free to delete them, they are not need unless you wish to modify your installation but then you can download them again.
