Hi guys,
I’ve got a multitrack drum loaded into SD3 via Cubase and I’ve done all my workings in there so the triggers work correctly. My track has a few tempo/signature changes across the song but SD3 seems to have recognised the tempo properly (However I had to re enter the signature changes manually in SD3 despite these are already adjusted in cubase)
The issue appears when I export to midi and I drag the resulting midi file into my Daw (Exported as “follow daw” type) I’ve got a time mismatch error and the midi goes twice faster than my actual tempo in cubase. I’ve also tried to import the midi file instead of dragging it into cubase and seems it works well at the beginning of the song but then it goes nuts..
What am I doing wrong?
Many thanks,
Joaquin
Hi,
2 things to try:
Export a MIDI file from Cubase with anything in it, it will contain the Tempo and Time signature changes you have made in Cubase and these can be Imported to the SD3 Song Track so they match up correctly.
Alternatively, switch on MIDI Out in SD3 and record the MIDI to a track in Cubase while playing back.

John
