Hi all,
Wondering if there’s anyway you can map things like drum volume to the faders on a TD50 module so as not to have to mess about with a trackpad while playing live.
And if that’s not possible would a midi controller like the Korg nanokontrol2 be the next best thing?
Thanks.
Hi Sonny,
don’t know if SD3 is able to learn Midi from a TD50. But I did something quite similar a few years ago with my TD-30, Mainstage and a Midicontroller.
Depends on what you want to do . . . studio or live gigging . . . .
Wondering what Toontrack’s answer to this question will be.
Cheers Ilja

Thanked by: Sonny_20Hi,
I do not think that the module faders actually send any data.
Individual drum levels and mixer channels can be assigned to MIDI CC values for control via e.g. a nanoKONTROL2.
You can also bind several mixer channels, e.g. the room channels, to one Macro that in turn can be MIDI CC learned.

John
