If you can’t create an SDX around Neil Peart’s Kit, PLEASE give us DRAG and DROP Kit Creation so we can do it ourselves!!!
The idea is pretty awesome and simple. Instead of creating all these kit SDX’s that are pretty much hard-coded drum configurations, give is a drag-n-drop kit creator interface that we can use to create our own kits with all the available drums we have installed on our systems.
This way, anyone can recreate the kits of their most loved drummers. This would be extremely useful for gigging drummers who use electronic kits with Superior Drummer in real time.
I’m working on a project to reverse engineer Neil’s drum parts in SD3 and it’s been challenging using a fixed kit layout. We all need something like this picture:
There are overhead photos of nearly every touring kit Neil used. It would be SOOOOO AWESOME to be able to construct this.
How about a Kit Construction software product? I be a lot of people would pay for it. I know I would.
