I’m not near my computer but as I recall look up in the left corner of the grovesg screen and you will see preview in original tempo…

Yes, I know that. But I want to see the number of the BPM of the original tempo.

    The definition of BPM:

Beats per minute, or BPM, is a term for measuring the tempo of a piece of music. “Tempo” is a musical term for the pace, or speed of a piece. Beats per minute is the unit of measurement for measuring tempo.

Oh also try to right click any menu and it might not have been checked to show the tempo…

Sorry I’m still not at my computer… But the menu thing might be your go to… Check help for that..

    Hi there,

either the Original Tempo is shown in the 3rd Collumn in the Headline (orange) of the groove

or in some  midi pack the bpm is shown  in the 2nd collumn embeded in the file Name.

it depends  on the structure of the individual midi pack

    ???

    Greetings,

    Ted (Wicked Disciple)

    Ok, I found it…I’ve been using mostly SD3 for a long time…

You start by  pressing ORIG tempo down, you’ll hear the groove in it’s orig tempo (Yes BPM)

if you want to know the tempo just drag it into your measure box below and the tempo pops up…This is in the standalone & DAW mode

Thanks onewayout_1 for your input! I also just discovered the dragging solution thanks to your initial thoughts about it. But other options I also found and they are much easier and faster. These other options are:

When in Browser tab the original tempo BPM is shown in the third column (or the second – depending on the structure of the midi pack, thanks Ted).

When in Search tab the original tempo is shown in one of the columns.

Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts!
