To start, check the track inspector in Logic to see what MIDI channel your software instrument track is listening to. If it’s not set for All (unless you have a bank of controllers, All will suffice), I’d start there.

I do have midi set to all in logic inspector as well as any channel in SD3. I’m getting midi in signal in logic from ekit but no audio.. although when I open standalone sd3 everything seems to work fine. I’ve tried everything to my knowledge, can’t seem to get it to work.. I might reinstall sd3 maybe that will do the trick

If there is  no indication of audio on the track, check to see if MIDI is coming in to SD3 via MIDI monitor in SD3. Also check to see that either the track is selected or the record or monitoring indicators are on in the track.

Everything seems to checkout.. getting midi via midi monitor it’s showing up logic midi in just no audio.. track is enabled.. if I use logics drum kit the ekit works without any issues.. Been trying to figure this one out for the last 3 days.. I appreciate your response ???
