Hello,
Firstly, my apologies if this topic has already been covered.
When using my V drums in conjunction with sSD3, I find the drum sensitivity is quite high, i.e I have to strike the drum harder than I would like in order to get a response. This is particularly frustrating when trying to play ghost/grace notes. The notes are louder than I would like and sound over played. When playing through the module with the stock sounds, this is no problem. Its only when using SD3 . Can anyone suggest what settings I need to change to get the snare and other drums/cymbals to the response and volume levels that I would like?
Thanks to all..!

You’ll need to start by adjusting the pad sensitivity and velocity curve on your V-Drum module.
even though it’s fine when playing using the module and it’s sounds?

Same velocity issues when using Machine Mikro 3 to trigger SD3 drums. Have to hit the pads very hard. Can input velocity be adjusted in SD3?
I had the same issue with my TD-25 kit….adjusting the pad sensitivity on my Roland module fixed the issue and I was able to trigger ghost notes in SD3 afterwards.

Yes you can, use the “Velocity Curve” setting, make soft hits louder and harder hits softer, it’s all there…
