I just started using EZ Drummer 2, and I’m having issues with MIDI volumes. I have multiple songs, patterns, etc. from the Alesis SR18 that I’ve been previously using. If I “record” or transfer a part or song from the Alesis into EZ Drummer’s timeline, and then add a drum midi from EZ Drummer into the same timeline, the levels and quality of the EZ Drummer MIDI is significantly higher. Even though the MIDI from the Alesis is replaced with EZ Drummer’s sound. I’ve also tried to export the Alesis MIDI from Studio One and bring them into EZ Drummer’s timeline. I still get the same result. hours trying things and trying to find something about it online. Does anybody have any ideas?
Select the block that has too low velocity (hardness of the hits), double click it to open Edit Play Style.
In there, raise the Velocity to make the hits harder 🙂

Awesome. I’m going to try this later today, and will let you know the results. Thank you!!

Thanked by: Henrik EkblomNote that you can select all instruments and increase the velocity, if it’s too low for all instruments, or just select one or a few instruments and change the velocity for those!

Thanked by: JimbronieThis absolutely worked! I know about velocity, but completely overlooked it. I’m absolutely impressed with this software. I was skeptical at first, because I’m “old school”, but this was definitely worth every penny. Thank you again for your help. Looking forward to using this.
