I laid out a drum track for a song using Superior Drummer V3.1.5. Everything was going fine and then…the track starts playing back with half drum sounds and half piano sounds. Was up with that! Any body else run into this? Using Pro Tools 19.10
I’m not familiar with Pro Tools but here are things to check:
Are you using the song track in SD3 or do you have your drum MIDI events in a track in Pro Tools? It seems that the SD3 MIDI is also playing another MIDI instrument, whether that instrument is a virtual instrument or an external instrument, along with playing SD3. Check that the drum track in Protools is not sending MIDI to any other instrument.
Also check to see if ‘Enable MIDI Out’ is checked in the Settings/General tab. Unless you want to send the SD3 MIDI info to an instrument other than SD3, this this should not be checked.
If this doesn’t work, giving more details may help me to figure it out.
