I have saved a project and it’s USER PRESETS in my DAW (reaper) and right now it’s coming up as DEFAULT in both project name AND user presets (instead of project name and user preset names) when I reopen the project. Also the instrument mixer goes back to default again.

Is there any settings I need to adjust for these new features to work?

In the past my DAW used to save the settings and the NAMES of the project and user presets if I saved it…. So I’m just trying get this working again if possible.,

Ok, I just tested this again in a new project and found out that once reopening the project I have to go and open the SAVED project (easily thru OPEN RECENT in file menu) ie. I named this one TEST and the grid mixer and user presets come back along with the song midi…

I expected the project to reopen with the saved name and user presets as in the past….But VERY good UPDATE as I REALLY like the grid mixer settings to stay!!

Also working in my Old project too!! NICE!!

Sorry Henrick,

I just tested it again and for some reason I am now not getting the USER PRESET saved with the project to come up when I choose my NEW PROJECT file….

Do you mean the “Default Project”? That has its own menu item in the File menu (Load Default Project). File > New will start a new project from scratch.

What I’m attempting to do is save project as “MTS FINAL” with USER PRESET “MTS FINAL”is also loaded….. This is important for me as I’m constantly saving USER PRESETS as I go along and if I open the project again next week I’m wanting to get the same USER PRESET that I left off with and not having to think it’s different….OR using this set-up in a NEW project and making sure it is the same…I hope this video helps…

And the MIXER settings order in GRID EDITOR are not working again…In either stand Alone or DAW…)-:

Ok, so you load a Drums & Mixer User Preset and then save a project. The next time you load the project, the correct Drums & Mixer User Preset isn’t displayed?

Did you save the project using an older version of Superior Drummer 3?

If you try to create a new project with Superior Drummer 3, choose a Drums & Mixer preset, save it as a SD3 project and load it, does it work?

I just tried the above scenario in Logic using SD3 3.1.5 and it worked as intended…
