Try assigning them to a macro and using that instead.

Select all drums so that they all have that blue aura. This is easily done in the Instrument Menu, which is the left most of the three menus that sit in the middle above the drums.

Then right-click on the tuning slider and midi learn it.

Also try the Pitch FX> Real Time> MIDI Learn, for some fun.

    Hi Guys

    Thank you for your suggestions.

Selecting all of the instruments and binding the control tunes them all at the same time so not really what i was looking for. I have set up macros now which means one for each drum in the kit and i have enough knobs on my controller to have one for each. It works so thank you for that, but of course it is now a custom set I have to load each time. I assume there is no way to make macros persisitent to the product regardless of which kit is loaded?

    Thanks

Macros are part of the kit presets you can save, yes, but the MidiLearn system is not. It has its own preset system and if you load or save such a preset it becomes the default that is loaded for a new project.

And now I understand your original question – and the answer is no, you cannot have a midi learned CC control whatever you have selected in the GUI. The MidiLearn system is specifically designed to work without the GUI being up. It is primarily for automation.
