Hi,
I’m having an issue with Tap 2 Find not giving very good results. It seems to work fine with very simple beats, like in your demonstration video, but most of the time I’m not getting good results. Top finds will only have percentages in the 30’s to 50’s or so. But, if I take the time to go to the browser and go through a bunch of samples, I can usually find something that matches or is close. I then wonder why the Tap 2 Find didn’t find what I found. I have tried tapping in somewhat long and involved beats as well as just the few kick and snare hits I want to emphasize and it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Is there some trick to get it to perform better? I even have the web info turned on so that it will find beats that I don’t own. I’m spending a lot of time finding patterns that Tap 2 Find is supposed to find more quickly.
Thanks.
Can you post the MIDI file you are using in Tap2Find so we can check it out? Just drag the file from the Drop Zone and post it here.
Also screenshot the resultslist, or write the top % hit in the post. If you have some files you feel it should have found, write that down too.
