So I use Digital Performer 8 and after copying the tempo/bpm to all of my drum tracks (while still within DP) and then importing them into SD3 Tracker, the tempo/bpm shown in SD3 are nowhere near correct.
Why is this?
If each track’s header contains such information, how can SD3 simply ignore it? I can look at the ‘sound file information’ tab within DP and see the bpm values clear as day. (Files are all WAVs, fwiw.)
It also seems that I can’t simply change the bpm (to the correct value) in SD3. I can only seem to “grab” a single point within Tracker and change the bpm for that single point. Since the tracks were played to a click, they all have the exact same bpm (111 to be exact) so there should be some way to GLOBALLY change the bpm for ALL tracks within SD3’s Tracker window, right? This shouldn’t be so tedious of a process, should it????
Obviously, I wouldn’t need to change anything if SD3 simply read the correct bpm from the imported files though.
