Moving SD3 from Internal to External – Where do new downloads/updates go?

  I ran out of internal hard drive space.  I thought I was installing everything on my external but it only installed the recent sdx I purchased.  So I copy/pasted the whole folder 250 gigs.  Now what?  This is a pc win 10

  • delete the old folder?
    • if I do, I have downloads and updates that need processed and installed.  Where will these go?
    • You can select a folder for sdx and sd3 but not midi packs or updates it seems.
  • I repointed in setting the paths for everything except:
    • additional libraries – these are the ezx packs I bought to use in sd3, I dont have ez at all
    • user presets
      • Move these folders?  These were in a different folder/area of my internal drive and not in the large folder I moved over already.

  This is confusing.  I am getting an error for a couple things as well.
