Hello All,
I was having issues getting the Death and Darkness Midi grooves to load after install. I noticed that the name of the folder “00008701” caused it to be way out of order in the list. I renamed it to a number within the Superior Midi groove numbering and it is now placed properly.
That said, when trying to figure this out, I restored the Midi library under advanced to see if it would show up. I hate having to do this because for some reason 60% of my library gets the orange exclamation folder and I have to go through each individual to add to the database. Is there a way to set it up that it does not do this? I have some odd ball non Superior folders but it isn’t just those. All the EZDrummer libraries I have get the orange folder treatment.
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks,
Drew
Renaming those folders is asking for trouble. If you don’t rename them, they appear in the intended order in the SD3 browser and their databases will function.

Well, it didn’t show up after I installed like your above pic, then I did Midi restore and it showed up in a weird spot, I checked the Midi folder and saw the name having a weird number compared to other SDXs so I renamed it with a number within the range of SDXs. It worked so I am good… just not sure why it had such a strange number in the install content folder.
In any case, my bigger annoyance is why a lot of folders have to be added manually after a restore.
Hi,
if you rename folders, any update released for the MIDI will not work.
As for the other question, could you please post a screen shot of the contents of your ‘EZdrummer\Midi\’ folder in the Finder together with a screen shot of the Groove Browser after a MIDI Database restore?
Have you performed a Custom install of your ‘EZdrummer’ location?
