Hi,
I have recorded SD3 to Pro Tools on an instrument track. Triggered by my Roland TD 25k.
I then routed each SD3 output to an aux track inside Pro Tools. How would I go about converting the S.D. instrument track to individual audio tracks inside Pro Tools?
Im pretty good at following directions. Is there an article/how to on this kind of process?
Thanks!
Use the bounce function.

Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors

Thanked by: Henrik EkblomStill not sure what you are talking about. The midi file resides in Pro Tools. How would I get the midi file into SD3 so I could bounce it out?
if you read my original post, the midi data was triggered by my Roland kit. The midi file is in Pro Tools. I can not find any information on how to turn that midi file into individual audio tracks in Pro Tools. From what I have read….. the midi data needs to reside in SD3, then I could bounce out individual instruments to audio tracks in Pro Tools.
Is this correct? If the midi data is in SD3? Then I could bounce out individual instruments to audio tracks in Pro Tools?
Drag the midi file from Pro Tools into the Song Track in SD3, then click on the Track tab just above the song track area and then select Bounce and choose the options you want.
It works well.
It’s a good idea to read the ‘Bounce’ section in the SD3 user manual.

In the cases where you can’t drag a MIDI file from the DAW (which is the case for most DAW:s), you can record enable the song track of Superior Drummer 3, and press play in the DAW, and the MIDI will be recorded to SD3.
Besides using Superior Drummer 3’s Bounce function, you can also bounce MIDI to audio in Pro Tools.

Hi tendingtropic,
first you click the REC button then the play button (if you’re in the standalone). If you are using it as a plugin in a DAW, click the REC button then play in your DAW(make sure you have Follow Host enabled).
