I’m downloading the manual now so it’s most certainly in there but being I’m at work it’ll be a while before I can start reading it hence my asking here. Is it possible to use a drum from an SDX within the Superior 3 kits? I notice that it seems I have to either select the Superior Drummer 3 library (which then only shows kit pieces from that sound library) or choose the SDX which then only gives me the option to use the pieces within the SDX. How would I go about swapping out say a kick drum from an SDX within an SD3 kit?
Select a drum, right click and select Search for Instrument…
In there, you can find and add all instruments from all your libraries 🙂 The filter section will help you, to (for example) see all snares from New York Studios Vol.1 SDX.
You can also select to stack the instruments, replace other positions etc. from Search from Instrument. These extra features are found in the More menu in the bottom right corner.

Thanked by: Rev2010I’m not in front of my pc but the answer is yes. You can build a kit starting with SD3 kit and change parts out from any other kit. Same goes for any kit and any drum position
