I’ve been using EZD2 for a few years now and love it. I use Pro Tools 12.8.3.
Today something weird has been happening when I drag clips from EDZ window into my session.
In some but not all cases the end of the clip is gray. It seems to be without any rhyme or reason. I’m concerned because I don’t if something is wrong that I cannot detect.
Hi,
that just looks like an “overlap shadow” which should indicate that there is some data from one region overlapping another.
If you go to ‘View > Clip > Overlap Shadows’ you’ll see that it’s a Pro Tools View preference you can switch on/off.
Doesn’t necessarily mean something’s wrong but it can make you aware that you might want to check if regions are 100% aligned to the Grid or there is some kind of MIDI data overlapping 2 regions.

John

Thanks, John.
I wasn’t aware of that preference; had never seen this before.
I’ll keep an eye out for that, though I always zoom way in when dragging clips to ensure that they’re spot on.
