I use to make a midi track for EZkeys in Cubase 10, which plays my “Keyboards”. Is it possible to change the sound automatically within this track? For example if I use “electric Grand”, can I use from bar 1 – 8 “default” and from bar 9 -16 “Chorus Grand”? Is it possible to use more than one instrument whithin one track? And when how it works?
Or have I to create for every sound and instrument a new single midi track?
Thanks!
I mean change of presets. Nobody knows?
Hi,
first make sure ‘Allow MIDI Program Change’ is ticked in the EZkeys Menu.
Then you create a Bank Msg for the Library and a Program Change for the Preset.
Which numbers specifically depends on how many libraries you have and which library is selected.

This reply from John would be a LOT better if it included just how to create a bank message for library and program change for preset!!!
Hi Scott,
it totally depends on which host/DAW you use, since they all work differently.

You can also have two tracks in your DAW, and load EZkeys to each one. In the first instance, load Default and have the MIDI for bar 1-9.
On the second instance, place the MIDI for bar 9 -16 and select “Chorus Grand”.
By doing this you don’t have to use MIDI messages to change presets, which can be a hassle. Further, by splitting up EZkeys to two tracks, you can mix the sounds for Default and Chorus Grand separately.
The downside of having two tracks is that more RAM will be used.
