Go to Settings/Libraries and make sure that the paths are set to the correct folder of your drum samples as in the attached image.

    Also update to V 3.1.4

    Hi Daniel,

I might be wrong but, I think that is how some of the kits are mean’t to be. Not every kit has three rack toms or 4 cymbals etc.

In the SoS review you can see the same thing.

Although, if you want to include the instrument that is greyed out, I’m pretty sure you can select it and choose what you want to add from a menu.

    Regards

Not being available and not loading are two different things. If a drum is grayed out, simply right-click on it and choose the stick/mallet/rod that you want to use for it. Even when some instruments are grayed out they will play another loaded instrument via MIDI rather than just being silent. And you can always assign any drum sound in your library to any instrument (snare toms, kick, etc.) in the kit.

It’s correct that some presets doesn’t load all positions. If the drum isn’t needed, according to the person who made the preset, it’s better to not load anything (since that would require more RAM to be used).
