Hi,
Need Help. I am running EZ Drummer 2 with DAW Reaper but cant’ get Reaper to record / render files without crackling and popping and tried everything suggested to me on the Reaper Forum with no success.
I am wondering if I invest in a Digital Mixing Desk that has USB Out, can I record EZ Drummer either as a Stereo Out 2 Channel mix, or ideally 14 multi-track out into the desk and record tracks this way? I am a singer keyboard player songwriter using MX88 Keyboard, EZ2, & Vocals.
I have been labouring for a year now with EZ and Reaper and have got as far as getting EZ into Reaper rending tracks but the popping and crackling is always there.
Thanks for any help / suggestions/ recomendations.

Hi,
the crackling & popping issue seems buffer size related to me. It can, of course, be something else but either that or something interfering with CPU or Memory events. Anti-Virus protection on?
As for your other question; the EZDrummer 2 standalone can operate with interfaces that have multiple outs, so if your mixing desk acts as a multi-out audio interface, EZDrummer 2 has 16 Stereo outputs that can be routed to those interface outputs.
Oh, and make sure you are using the latest version of EZDrummer 2, I see you are using 2.1.1 and the current version is 2.1.8.
