The larger gui is nice – but where did all the colors go?
The SD2 gui did not make me want anything else, really – clear and pleasant to the eye in every way.
SD3 looks washed out, kind of.
Give us a couple of skins, please.
Thanks.
50 shades of gray? Have you seen BFD3? They call it “blueprint view”. I’m a drummer and I don’t know about you guys but a big reason I started playing drums was because they look really cool. Skins would be nice but I’d also love to see a “kit builder” where you can arrange your kit to your liking (or match your ekit layout). I’m not crazy about adding a tom and having it live in a box off the side, but as long as SD3 works as well as it does, I can live with that.
I like the colours. I do agree though that adding extras would be nice to put where you want them like the old xdrums
SD3 with older sdx,s plus Rooms of Hansa and Death & Darkness. Cubase and wavelab current versions. Roland TD50x using all trigger inputs for triggering SD3 only. Windows 11 computer. Various keyboards and outboard gear as well as VST instruments. Acoustic drums: Yamaha 9000 natural wood and Pearl masters. Various snare drums. RME BabyFace Pro FS and Adam A7X monitors
I have to agree on the need for optional color schemes for SD3. I always find it hard to locate the scroll bar in the Grooves window. It’s a tiny dark gray line on a slightly darker gray background. For a long time I didn’t even know it was there.
Cubase Pro, Korg Kronos, M-50, Hammond XK-1c, Toontrack SD3, EZBass w/lots of expansions, many VSL Vi's, Shreddage 3 everything, and shit-tons of FX plugins.

Thanks for the feedback! I will have a look at the color contrasts on different GUI parts, and increase them wherever needed.
Are there any other parts of the GUI that you find hard to see?
