Hi Guys,
I was wondering what happens when i load a certain kit or midi from SD 3.0.
Does it then load all of that into RAM?
The reason i’m asking is, that i would like to run my OS and all Apps on a internal NVME m.2 ssd. But that is only 1TB,
and i need to move everything possible out from there.
So i guess the question is: if i have the SD 3.0 library files on a separate harddrive, obviously when i load those files SD3 will access that harddrive,
but after all the kit and stuff is loaded, will SD3 still access the harddrive and location where it’s stored or will it be loaded into Memory?
thanks 🙂

SD3 loads kits to memory. There is no disk streaming so should be fine.
