New to Superior Drummer 3 as of yesterday and am attempting learn all I need to learn ! Awesome so far. But one question stuck out in the first day of assessing.
I see that flam articulations are available for Snare… but what about Toms?
Can a flam articulation be set up for a tom ?
Not all instruments are recorded with the same articulations.
If you select an instrument in the drum kit (the snare for example), and open the Articulation menu (top right side of the Drums tab), you can see all the articulations that are included for the selected instrument.
Also, when you use Search for Instruments (to change instrument), on the right side you can see the articulations for the selected instrument, and also preview them.

Ok. Thanks. I can always achieve it with manually creating in the sequence as well – and honestly that gives you more control over the spacing of the notes… so perhaps its a good thing.

Thanked by: Henrik EkblomJust seeing this and trying to add flams on toms but it’s not there. Any chance this might get updated on standard / Massenberg / Bob Rock kits?

I don’t see it happening. The flams for the snare are real performance flams so if they weren’t recorded at the time of sampling they can’t be added after the fact. You can, as mentioned above, draw in the flam hits in the grid editor and that method offers more flexibility due to getting exact placement based on note spacing and tempo.
