Hoping you can help.
I’m trying to edit a Groove in SD3’s Grid Editor while I have it as a VST Instrument in Cubase 10 / Windows 10 but I’m finding that the Standard Key Commands like Copy, Paste Delete, Undo or Redo aren’t working in the Grid Editor. Matter of fact, even when I have the Grid Editor Launched, if I click the Undo command it undoes the last command I made in my DAW Project Window and not in the Grid Editor.
Any of you have the same issues in other DAWs?
Cheers and Many Thanks!

Hey, are you hitting command + Z (to undo on a mac; or the windows equivalent) — or — are you looking for edit –> undo in the grid editor box? The grid editor is where you want to work if you are trying to undo something specifically in the grid editor (which actually has its own file, edit, etc. options).
Correct. Hitting Ctl + Z I just thought that once I opened up the Grid Editor in my DAW that the Key Commands would then apply to the edits I make in the Grid Editor without having to access the Grid Editor Menu to use the Copy, Past or Delete functions. Standard Key commands don’t seem to work at all in the Grid Editor like they when I launch SD# as a Stand alone.
Ahhhhh. I just sorted it out. All I had to do was to go into the SD3 “General” Settings Menu while I had the Grid Editor open in my DAW and make sure the Box was checked that read “Enable keyboard shortcuts in other hosts other than the standalone” then the Key Commands worked great.
Cheers and Many Thanks!
