I have been having some hanging issues lately – see first post here for detail… https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/extremely-slow-startup-and-kits-not-fully-loading/ . I am wondering if moving where the app is installed might help.
I currently have the SD3 app and VST DLLs for SD3 on my C drive (along with my DAW app, etc.). It’s a 7200 drive…
I installed all of the sound files onto a separate SSD drive.
I am wondering if it would be better to install everything SD3 on the SSD drive.
If so, is there a way to resintall the App/VSTs on the SSD drive, without reinstall the SDX and EZX files. I have a ton of them…
I was going to uninstall and reinstall SD3 but afraid it might delete the sound files. When I go to the Product Manager, I can download SD3 again, but it does not give me an option to install/repair becuase it shows Ready to Use.
Any thoughts here?
