When I load kits, cymbal choke hits are being assigned to the rims of toms. I am not sure why this is. How can I change this to the normal rim hit on tom?

In Settings / MIDI In/E-drums, select the Roland preset to match the instrument MIDI notes to your e-drums.

The ride and kick drum are always very low and reverby, as though only the room mics are present, whilst the toms are very over the top, loud and boomy, with long sustain after the hit.

Have you tried listening to the drums using headphones? Does it sound any different?

    Hi,

you can always try the other Roland Presets out, like e.g. the TD-15 or TD-50.
