Hey! so i just purchased my EZdrummer 2 and the reaction seems to be slow on ableton. My version is 10.0.6. I was also thinking maybe its because my OS is mojave? My sample rate is already 128. but yeah. I need some help please. Thank you

Do you get the same performance if you use other virtual instruments in Ableton?
I wouldn’t expect a clean performance when using a QWERTY keyboard as the latency wouldn’t be immediate. It’s recommended that you have a MIDI input device for low latency input.

it works fine with the midi controller, its just the display that lags. but all seems well.
I haven’t encounter the same problem using the QWERTY keyboard with other virtual instruments.
thank you!
Hi
I’ve got exactly the same issue on a macbook pro 15 2018 mojave 10.14.5 and live 10.1, big GUI lag, AU and VST.
Working fine in protools, same for the standalone app, so probably related to Live, don’t know.
Also no pb, on a macpro 2012 same version app/system.
Any insight ?
Thks for your help
Greg
I have the same problem, GUI is sluggish, doesn’t matter if I’m using it with a DAW or standalone.
My OS version is the same, mojave 10.14.5
Still have this issue with no answer from support (the worse I’ve experienced so far).
Vincelucero/makzpj have you found a solution ?
Thanks for your help!

EZdrummer version: 2.1.8
Operating system: macOS Mojave (10.14)
Since it’s only lagging in Live, there must be something about that. Do you experience this lag with other plugins in Live?

Thanked by: Gregoire AugerHi,
No lag with other plugins and I’ve got a few.
No pb on a 2012 macpro with all same OS/system.
Thks for your help, please keep me in touch.
Have you set the UI zoom in Live to anything else than 100%?

I also contact ableton live support, they said it may be related to mac OS…or the plugin itself.
If fixed itself after updating the OS to 10.14.6 ??♂️

I’m having the same issue. I’m on the latest version of Catalina. Superior drummer 3 and ezdrummer 2 work fluidly and great inside cubase 10 pro. But if either are run in studio one 4 or stand alone the drum gui is sluggish/laggy.
The audio is fine, but makes editing a pain. I don’t have CPU performance issues. It’s harldy using any resources. I don’t know why it runs so well in in cubase, but poorly by itself and in studio one. If anyone comes up with a solution please share!
Figured it out for Mac users.
