Hi, I would like to install all or most of the SP3 sound library but would prefer that I don’t tie up 230GB of my MacBook Pro’s harddrive. I am considering installing the sound library on an external SSD or on a 256 GB flash drive. is there any downside to doing this and is there any preference between an external solid-state drive versus a flash drive?
Thanks,
Derek
If you have thunderbolt connection I think it wouldn’t be a problem. But I did not try.
Thanks, I am using a 2018 MacBook Pro with 4 USB-C ports….I am assuming the fact eh Apple went to these ports exclusively is that they are as fast or faster than thunderbolt….
Thanks,
D
